If you catch yourself complaining (in thoughts or words) about a situation you find yourself in, about what people say or do, your surroundings, your life situation, or even the weather. Hey, that’s good news. Why? Because it is an excellent opportunity to step out of it and enter the here and now.
To complain is always non-acceptance of what is right now. It invariably carries an unconscious negative charge.
If you find here and now intolerable, you have three options: accept it totally, change it or remove yourself from it. All else is madness.
